I have discovered that not all fort appache maps are equal. The map available from the MWL is version 1.0, whereas the map available from mechtorm is version 1.1
These 2 maps are not compatible and players may find themselves being disconnected from a server for not having a map when they think they do.
The version that is used on the Enterprise is version 1.1 (mercstorm). If you have downloaded the map packages from MWL you will need to redownload the fort appache map from mercstorm.

) seem fond of this map because of the bays, you may consider looking at some others which also have bays. My personal favorites are Hillfort and Golgotha, although Wotan's Fjord (spelling?), Winter War, Winterlands, and Desert War all also have them. Prolly available for single download over at MWL (I haven't checked in a while).
