MWLL have been counting down the days to release with an advant calendar each day showing a new in game shot. Very impressive!! I really think this will rejuvinate the game, as it is causing quite a stir around the community. Below are a few of the in game shots. follow link www.mechlivinglegends.net/cpg/displayimage.php?pos=-204

MWLL featured in australian gaming magazine Atomic « on: Yesterday at 06:57:12 PM » Quote
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Read the original entry Quote Not long ago, the team of MechWarrior: Living Legends had been contacted by James Matson, a contributor of Australian computing magazine Atomic. Here's what to look for:
A number of questions had been asked and answered - and the result can now be seen in Issue #96, January 09. The magazine's most recent issues features your favorite MechWarrior-themed Crysis mod with no less than 4 full colored pages. So, if you live anywhere in the area of Australia or New Zealand, consider grabbing a copy of that magazine. . .. .

will keep an eye out for that one
on that note, it is with some sadness we retired the old enterprise server last night, and upgraded to a quad core server for MWLL's
we'd like to take a moment to thank all who travelled on her, and we hope your memorys of the time on board were as happy as ours
i will try and run her back up on the new server, but if she doesnt fly im not going to spend to much time sorting ot out.
i need to get up to speed on the crysis command structure.
ah well as one door shuts another opens, bring on 09 and the living legends...............

Yeah, I'll be out there for LL as well but it's gonna be while. Money I'd set aside for upgrades ended up being re-prioritized for some unexpected necessities.
It WILL happen, though it's simply a matter of time.
Of course it doesn't hurt that these same upgrades will also make GTA IV run better as well, so, yeah, it's gonna happen. ;-)

we had intended to put off the upgrade till the last moment, but the end of year sales saw a good price on a custom built game box so we snapped it up Spock and I are now both MW:LL ready, and we hope to see all our good friends there this year.
we may yet get enterprise up in the interim, i would like to see how it runs on this monster, and we are now using the ethernet instead of usb connection to the modem which should improve performance considerably.
Vcomms will be up as soon as we can get it, as im sure we will need one in MW:LL's.
the ability to get out of the mech and walk into the local bar is going to be right up my alley, if its possible star fleet will purchase some "real estate" and set up an HQ complete with officers club, and clean restrooms.....

Yar, just upload the files to one of the popular file hosting services and post the download link here. Best way to communicate large files imho. It's free btw.. www.mediafire.com/www.file-upload.net/ www.fileshost.com/a few examples, if you need more, search for "free file hosting" <S>
