Enterprise has had some modem issues lately (possibly a residual of earlier lightning strike. there is a large deposit of ironstone under the ridge we live on, lightning magnet it is)
anyway we have upgraded her equipment and things should be stable again. let me know if you have any probs connecting

OK Kirk, just upgraded the line to the fasted we can get in Aus. This change will go through on the 18 June.
There will be no changes to the equipment we have just received.
Once the change has happened we will also have comms back up and running.

Sorry people we are still experiencing some down time. It appears that this problem is at the exchange. I have reported the fault and the telcos will be checking it out today. We have had this problem since the last lightning strike but it has been intermittent and difficult to troubleshoot. Hopefully we should be stable in the next few days. I will keep you all posted.
Kirk is unable to post or host at the moment. Once the fault is recitified I then need to get the modem setup correctly. There is little point in setting this up until the telcos have done their job. Its been a frustrating few weeks but we are getting close.

OK, the line seems to be stable at the moment. Enterprise is up and running. Comms will be started once we are happy the line is not going to drop again. If all is well by the weekend comms will be setup over the weekend.
