Thanks Mr Spock, your Intel is accurate, and timely well done both servers have been remodulated to run in the mekmatch zone.
for the new players you need to run the registry patch file which ill redirect your game to look for servers in the alternative zonematch service.
the 1st thread of this section has the links to the files, you can also use direct connect IP address to see our servers
[SF]Enterprise is 220.237.235.185 [SF]Defiant is 220.237.209.29
these are the only PR1 servers up at present, though im sure as the other hosts check in here they will swap asap
well done spock

well we had a very sweet run there, but its down again. both SF servers are up in the mekmatch zone. to the new ppl from vengance the PR1 servers are up and running but you need to run the regedit patch to point your game to where they are currently located. www.freewebs.com/hpgrelay/zoneworkaround/mekmatch.regrun this to access new location both patch files and full instructions are in the first thread on this page note: some ppl may have timeout issues, that is when you hit the connect button you get a yellow connecting,followed by conected in green with the words downloading games in blue,but no serversin the list,just click the back button and connect again, repeat untill list comes up- it will

Special thanks to the Capt. Kirk, and Tasha Yar who do the posting in this Servicer. We are lost with-out. Last count of way over 200 persons viewed this very important information. I checked the IP in MekTex and found a difference IP, and it was wrong. Keep up the good work, and have a merry Christmas to all, and a Happy sober New Year ;D Star Warrior, and his pet Dasi hi

For those who are not using the mektek patch SF server IPs are as follows [SF]Enterprise 58.109.20.205 [SF]Defiant 220.236.193.4 Just a thought: how about getting a static address for your server(s)? As an example, SoE and WPPC servers always have same addy, no matter which IP currently being behind it: SoE (main server) - dc7jzb.dyndns.org SoE (FrostFight) - mw4frost.dyndns.org W*P*P*C - wppc.servegame.org It's quite easy to get a fix addy from one of the free IP mapping services like dyndns.org: www.dyndns.com Whenever your current IP changes, your router or some little software sends an update to dyndns.org. So your server will be always reachable by this fix addy "[yourname].dyndns.org". Nice thing isn't it...? ~S~ Frost {SoE}

Thanks frost, ive thought about it before, and im prob wrong in the mechanics, but ive always wondered if the extra "hop" via a dns service might affect performance. it prob doesnt but thats always been my concern, i guess we should set one up anyway and test it
